Short but not too short african American relaxed/permed hair, how can i style it in a way that won&#

i have been just tying it back for a while and well it doesn't look great in fact it looks really plain an it seems to be breaking my hair. any suggestions?

you could twist the hair and keep gathering small bits of it until your result in the twist effect ie;



Take your hair put it into about 6-10 sections at the front and start to twist it using to hands and as you twist it gather the next piece of hair and go all the way down(placing small black clips to keep it in place. continue this process throughout the hair.. starting at the forehead. Once you have achieve this effect. You can find many ways to style it this way.. ie puting a side part in and twisting you hair in that direction.

Try a weave or a clip-in hair piece. All the girls in my class at college have them and they look really good.

use this cream called live. It holds your hair and makes it soft.
