Hair problems...help please?

i have dark brown kinda long hair (the back goes to about the collar on a t-shirt). when my hair is long it sometimes curls out on the ends but sometimes stays strait. it varies from day to day. im kinda sick of having long hair. i want it shorter but not like shaved. the only problem is i dont really know any styles of shorter hair for guys, plus i have pretty big ears. if i dont cut it short i need to figure out something to do with it at this length.

Why don't you layer it? It's more stylish and it will still hide your ears.

wat u need to do is go to a barber shop and tell him to give u a spike cut. all you have to do then is just comb it and spike up the front with gel

There are salons where they can put a photograph of you on the computer and try different hairstyles on you and you can see the results before they actually cut off your hair.

My sons ears stick out a bit and I give him long layers and his hair covers his ears . The top is short but progressively gets longer.

OMG i have a friend with the same problem. Only he keeps his hair long to cover his GIGANTIC forehead. aka "nine-head". hahaha. But ya just go to your hairstylist and explain to her/him your problem and they will take care of it.
