Relaxer burnt my hair..now some of it it an inch or less, some 2 inches and about 20% is down to my

I have dyed my hair many times. also relaxed it many times. always use the same brand relaxer. this time it broke off my hair! i've never had short hair...i have a heart shaped face, so i'm curious what short styles will look ok and make me still look feminine.

Oh what a disaster for you, so sorry! Sometimes, products we use on a regular basis and don't have any problems with suddenly are a problem. It might be something with your system (body) that didn't co-operate with the product this time. I've had permanents done when I've had a slight cold and they didn't take. So keep that in mind. It's always good to do regular deep conditionings between your harsh use of harsh products as well. I found some info that might help on styles of cuts for you...

A pointy chin tends to be the focal point of the hearshaped face. Draw attention to your eyes and cheekbones instead with sideswept bangs (these act almost like arrows to your eyes or cheeks), Keep top layers soft and long. Haley Barry is a great example of your face shape and short haircut. I'll give you some links to check photos for ideas. Good Luck!

Try a short, spiky funky style - be different, it will also help to disguised the different lengths and give you a clean slate to start from

Get a thick across your forehead fringe, about eyebrow level, with longer bits just in front of your ears.

It'd make you look like a sweet little kid ^_^

Try a pixie, or spikey look. Please do not color or relax your hair again for awhile, like months. Let your natural hair grow out and condition it as your hairdresser advises. I would use a deep conditioner once a month and a daily light conditioner, depending on your hair type, it may be different for your hair texture. You will survive this, it happened to me once and I got the spkey look and it was cute. Of course I let it grow out and in the meantime the short hair worked for me.

You can't keep chemically treating your hair so often, it weakens it to the point of breakage. Go to your stylist, and ask to see some books, you'll find styles that will fit your natural hair texture and the shape of your face. Also, ask how to bring your hair back to a healthy state.

Wow - that's crazy! I would go ahead a get it cut, depending on where the longest parts are. I absolutely LOVE how Victoria Beckham's hair looks right now with it short all over and the long bang. That's cute. Then think of the old Halle Berry look. I would suggest growing your hair out as much as possible without relaxing.

Pixie cut, the old Halle Berry cut and then give your hair a break from relaxing.

Go for the Halle Berry hair cut, and spike it add some color too. But, be careful hair that has been belached or colored should be relaxed (with a mild hair relaxer) for a shorter period of time than non colored hair. Also, try a protein treatment like Aphogee (sally's beauty supply sells it). Then us a moisturizing constructor like Motions CPR.
