Please help me! My fiance has very curly hair and I don't know how to style it!?

He has short hair ( about 5 inches above shoulder length) and it's very thick and curly! He HATES his curly hair though and wants it straight. I tried to style his hair to ENHANCE his curls, but he still doesn't like it! The only way I know to get his hair straight is to straighten it EVERY morning and I don't have time for that. Does anyone have any ideas! Plleeeeeeeease!

He should get it cut short. Real short....If it's not short enough it will look kinda like a brillo pad (think cory matthews from boy meets world). Try Justin Timberlake's haircut. He has really curly hair too.

i have thick curly hair and i am sick and tiered of dealing with my stylists, they always giv eme a chipmunk look but my spouse never pitches in and helps me...ask him to try something on his own.I also liked the other answer Bald is beautiful!!!

if he likes it to stay long he can blow dry it or if he dosenot mind if it is short y dont he cut it

try relaxing it then straighten it and or teach him how to just blow dry it in the mornings. if you blow dry it in the mornings after getting it relaxed the curls will be better to handle. just relax it about every 6-8 weeks and the curls will calm down. and go to a beauty salon to get the hair relaxed because if you do it you might keep it in too long and burn his hair. sorry if it doesnt work out for you? oh and congradulations!!!!!!!!!

All you can do is use a serum for curly hair to try to control it and decrease frizz.

He is a grown man. Tell him to do whatever it was before you met him. Obviously it worked you were attracted to him. And why are you even doing his hair? Can't he straiten his own hair? If that's how he likes it tell the LB to do it himself.

It's all his decision, but I love curly hair on men. Try and convince him it suits him otherwise get used to short hair.
