Short indie hair?

So my dad is making me cut my hair. Right now it is medium length and i like it alot but if i cut it short (almost shaved more hand trimmed) are there any specific ways that make it look more indie style

Ew, First off, don't listen to the girl that said get it colored.

Indie boys have solid colours.

If you dress indie, then you can pull off short hair, like any other indie boy. Get it longer in the front, with a bit of fringe. Push the fringe to the side, for an almost side part, don't ever use gell.

Get side burns, and always go for that "just out of bed, I don't care" look.

if u want indie - long bangs and razored at the back - get a professional to do it though - proper indie - die the very front bits a different color

Just not so short. I know loads of indie boys that don't have long hair. And don't have long bangs and razored at that back because thats like this ancient emo haircut from two years ago. Just don't cut it so short. Is an inch still too long? Because and I think it'd look good at that length.
